EMW Chief Technologist to Present at TechNet Europe 2005
Herndon, Virginia — EMW Chief Technologist Dr. Kamal Raychaudhuri
is presenting an invited paper at the TechNet Europe 2005 conference
in Lisbon, Portugal, October 20-21. The presentation is scheduled
for Session II of the AFCEA sponsored show, entitled Defense Support:
what lessons can we learn from the retail industry?
The paper, “RFID in Asset Management”, addresses the
growing interest in Radio Frequency Identification, both from industry
and defense perspectives. The paper also addresses Asset Management
in the enterprise as well as the supply chain, walking through the
technology, practices, standards, and challenges of RFID today
This year’s TechNet Europe conference, "E.Combat: Strategies
for Success”, aims to explore the application of commercial
technologies to aid the war fighter, from training all the way up
to the front-line.
