EMW sponsors 22nd National Veterans Winter Sports Clinic

Snowmass Village, Colorado — EMW is proud to be a bronze sponsor of the 22nd National Veterans Winter Sports Clinic in Snowmass Village, Colorado, hosted March 30 - April 4, 2008 by The Grand Junction, Colorado VA Medical Center and VA’s Rocky Mountain Network, with principal sponsors The Department of Veterans Affairs and Disabled American Veterans (DAV). The 22nd National Disabled Veterans Winter Sports Clinic is the world leader in promoting rehabilitation by instructing veterans with disabilities in adaptive Alpine and Nordic skiing, and introducing them to a number of other adaptive recreational activities and sports. For many newly injured veterans, including increasing numbers injured in the war in Iraq and Afghanistan, the Clinic offers their first experience in winter sports and gives them the inspiration to take their rehabilitation to a higher level.

EMW President Tony Bui has accepted the sponsor award for EMW at the National DAV Winter Sports Clinic from Deputy Assistant of the VA, Gordon Mansfield and DAV National Commander, Robert Reynolds.
