EMW Receives Recognition from AFCEA Kaiserslautern Chapter No. 158
Herndon, Virginia — The Kaiserslautern, Germany Chapter of the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA) International serves the Kaiserslautern Military Community (KMC). The KMC consists of various Army and Air Force components. The KMC is comprised of Army facilities at Kleber, Panzer, and Daener Kasernes, Vogelweh Support Center, Landstuhl General Hospital, Miesau, Pirmasens, Rhine Ordnance Depots, and Pulaski Barracks, along with Air Force facilities located at Ramstein Air Base, Einsiedlerhof Kaserne, Sembach Air Base, and Kapaun Air Station. AFCEA International, established in 1946, is a non-profit membership association serving the military, government, industry, and academia as an ethical forum for advancing professional knowledge and relationships in the fields of communications, IT, intelligence, and global security.
EMW, Inc. has been a Gold Level Sponsor of the AFCEA Kaiserslautern Chapter for the past three years. This Annual Contribution helps pay for Chapter educational scholarships. This year when EMW, Inc. renewed its sponsorship at the Gold Level, the Kaiserslautern Chapter held a recognition ceremony at its Breakfast Meeting at the Ramstein Air Force Base Officers Club in conjunction with its annual Technology Exposition. EMW, Inc. was specifically recognized for its contributions to the Chapter and in particular its renewal of its Chapter Sponsorship at the Gold Level. The President of the Kaiserslautern Chapter, Colonel Mark (“Doc”) Langenderfer, Commander of the 435th Air Communications Group (ACOMG) presented a commemorative AFCEA Kaiserslautern Coin to EMW, Inc. to mark the occasion. Mr. John Hall, EMW Senior Vice President, International Business accepted the award on behalf of EMW, Inc.
