NATO Technology on the Move. EMW Playing Role

Kabul, Afghanistan — NATO’s technology acquisition is on a tear, and EMW is playing a part – a fact not unnoticed in the trade press.

As reported by us previously, EMW was selected by NC3A for the installation of the new perimeter-security system at Kabul International Airport (KAIA). DefenseNews, a part of the Army Times Publishing Company, a leading military and government news periodical publisher, reports that “From initial site survey in late May to system acceptance in late November, the entire system was designed, developed, installed and tested in less than six months - perhaps one-third as long as under NATO's traditional procurement model.”
