Mr. John Hall joined EMW from Lockheed Martin Information Technology (LMIT)
where he was Director of International & Security Business Development.
Prior to the acquisition of Affiliated Computer Services (ACS) Federal
Services Group by Lockheed Martin, Mr. Hall served as Director of International
& Security Business Development and in other technical and line management
capacities for ACS Defense, Inc., formerly Analytical Systems Engineering
Corporation (ASEC), for over 20 years.
Mr. Hall’s experience includes management, analysis and implementation
of U.S. Department of Defense, NATO and foreign systems, programs, personnel
and materials. His project experience includes provision of general technical
advisory services, quality control/assurance, mission requirements analysis,
functional analysis, system design, and system implementation management,
for Information Systems, Communications Systems Security Systems, Air
Traffic Control Systems, Arms Control Programs, and C3I programs.
Prior to joining industry, Mr. Hall served as a Regular Officer in the
United States Army. Trained as an Artilleryman, he commanded an Artillery
Battery in combat in Vietnam and served in a wide variety of command,
staff and General Staff positions at the Special Detachment, Battalion,
Separate Brigade, Corps and NATO Army Group/Allied Tactical Air Force
level, principally at international locations.
Upon joining industry, Mr. Hall remained active in the Army Reserve with
additional command assignments of a mobile Data Processing Unit and serving
as Mobilization Officer for the New England Region until his retirement
from the Army with over 22 years of service.
Mr. Hall is a Graduate of Phillips Exeter Academy, attended Dartmouth
College, and was awarded a Bachelor of Science in Engineering by the US
Military Academy, West Point, New York. Mr. Hall also earned a Master's
Degree in German at the University of Connecticut, Storrs, Connecticut.
Mr. Hall is the author of numerous publications including the Design Manuals
and Guide Specifications for Security Systems of the US Naval Facilities
Engineering Command, and the Joint System Concept of the Joint Stand-off
Attack Radar System (Joint STARS) for the US Air Force. He has developed
and presented several technical papers at international seminars and conferences
on such topics as E-Government, Security System Design Methodology, Business
Process Re-engineering, and Automation of Financial Systems.
As EMW Vice President, International Business, Mr. Hall is responsible
for business development with international clients, and management oversight
of EMW sales initiatives in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, establishment
of teaming agreements and strategic alliances with foreign companies for
the pursuit of international opportunities.
